Iptraf zeigt viele Verbindungen an....

Hallo,

ich habe auf einem Linux Server das Problem das dieser Schlecht erreichbar ist.
Wenn ich mit iptraf ein log erstelle sehe ich zigtausend Verbindungen.

Innerhalb 20 Sekunden habe ich ein Logfile von ca 40MB nur um die menge der Verbindungen zu verdeutlichen.
Problem ist das weder die from noch die to IP Adresse meine IP ist. Der Server steht in einem Rechenzentrum

Hat hier jemand eine Lösung oder einen Tipp woran das liegt?

Was läuft bei Dir auf Port 9000?

netstat -tulpen ?

Was soll Dein Server für Dienste bereitstellen?
Iptables?

Hi,

nein der Server steht in Köln, ich sag ja weder die FROM noch die TO IP Adresse ist meine...
netstat zeigt nur die bewusst offenen ports an. SSH und Port 123 für ntpd.
Alle anderen Ports sind dicht.

Dein Hoster hat geschlampt und seinen switch falsch konfiguriert. Üblicherweise konfiguriert man den swicth so, daß nur unicasts durchkommen, die auch zum angeschlossenen System gehörern udn fremder traffic dort ferngehalten wird.

Ich würde einafch einen iptables-Filter aufsetzen, der alle pakete, Die nicht zu Dir wollen dropt. Weiterhin würde ich ein ernstes Wörtchen mit dem Hoster reden.

Offensichtlich stehen bei Surfplanet ganz viele chinesiche Bots. (Mein Interpretation der obigen Daten).

ich würde auch ganz schnell den Hoster wechseln. face-smile

Kannst du über utrace.de ja selber sehen !!

Ist ja wohl nicht anzunehmen das du einen China Provider nutzt der ein RZ hier in D oder der EU hat !
Da kann man in der Tat nur allerdringenst raten den Provider zu wechseln.
Konfrontiere ihn mit der Tatsache und frage ihn was diese IPs in seinem Netz zu suchen haben.
Auf die Antwort sind wir dann hier alle sehr gespannt !!

Er sagte ja schon, daß weder Source noch Destination zu seienr Kiste gehören. Aufgrund der IP-Adressen vermute ich, daß seine Kiste bei Surfplanet steht und die anderen Kisten alle nach Hause nach China telefonieren. Er bekommt das halt mit, weil der Hoster den Standardfehler macht, die Kisten auf dem switch nicht gegeneinander abzuschotten.

Konfrontiere ihn mit der Tatsache und frage ihn was diese IPs in seinem Netz zu suchen haben.

Die auftauchenden 85.88-er Adressen gehören alle Surfplanet. Ich tippe drauf, daß das in einem RZ von denen ist und die IP-Adressen deswegen dahingehören.

Nicht ganz. Die Kisten stehen in Köln, aber werden von Hangzhou (115.238.186.105) aus administriert. Nennt man heutzutage outsourcing. Ob freiwillig oder nicht, wird man sehen. face-smile
