Quoting a full post

To quote the content of a post, you can use the quote function, which is available via the Quote button (") below the post, the post toolbar, or the more(...) drop-down menu. Clicking it will quote the entire post.

If you click the quote button in the toolbar of the edit box without selecting any text, the author's main contribution will be quoted in full. If you select some text beforehand, only that part will be quoted.

Quoting individual parts

If you only want to refer to certain parts of an article, you can also quote individual extracts.
To do this, select the relevant text and click on the quote button. You can do this more than once, e.g. to quote different members in the same comment.
